Ah it’s about time I cover potheads. Yes, contrary to whatever they say weed makes you stupid. Let me just get this off my chest right now. Most people just smoke weed to be cool, it’s a whole issue of it being illegal and bad. If weed was legal then less people would do it. Here are a few examples of some quotes I found on a LEGALIZE WEED group on Facebook.

So, I was just thinking….Who is the government to decide wheather or not weed should be illegal? If we want to smoke it, it should be 100% OK. It’s not effecting them. They arnt getting high. If they dont want to smoke weed then good for them! But these are our own lifes and we should be abale to do what ever we want, within reason!

So there you have it, actual opinions of potheads. So it’s not the pot I hate, it’s the people. If you smoke weed once or twice a month good for you. But once you start smoking it everyday and suddenly form this lifestyle out of it then you have a problem. One of the biggest lies I was ever told was “weed isn’t addicting.” Yes, that is why you spend ALL your time either smoking it, talking about smoking it, or reading about smoking it. You suddenly let weed to be the dominate focus in your life. If that is not addiction then I don’t know what is.
Oh, and don’t give me this bullshit that weed has health benefits. You CLEARLY aren’t smoking it because you’re sick.

you, my friend, are extremely ignorant. have you ever taken the time out of your life to read one page of reasearch of medical marijuana and the use of cannabis? Marijuana does not turn you into a bumbling idiot as you seem to believe it does. The only thing close to evidence you have to back that statement up is the study that shows it may kill brain cells. Now it kills brain cells, know what else it does? It can increase the appetite of AIDS victims so that they can eat again, and not starve to death. It is shown to kill cells in the lungs, which include, Lung Cancer cells. It is not proven to cause Lung Cancer, as it does not have anywhere near the same internal properties as cigarettes. It relieves suffering of Glaucoma patients and people who were in serious accidents and just want to live again. We blow billions of dollars a year making Marijuana illegal, while it has recorded 0, yes zero, deaths in human history. you had have to consume somewhere like 15,000 tons of marijuana in 5 minutes in order to die. While the legal cigarette kills over 400,000 a year and the legal alcoholic beverage kills a bit over 150,000 i believe. If we legalize marijuana and tax it, that’s over 1 billion more dollars annually to the United States. As for long term health effects of marijuana, there are no proven negative long term effects of chronic marijuana use. Many experiments have taken place where chronic marijuana users are given physicals next to people who have never smoked in their lives, there was no difference. In fact, if you use a Vaporizer to smoke the marijuana, it has been found to have no negative effects on the body at all. Also, eating marijuana has no negative effects on the body at all. The only negative effect of marijuana is the smoke. Also, your cute little drawing, weed is only psychologically addictive. Meaning it’s only as addicting as you let it be. Instead of picking out the blandest and weakest arguments about marijuana on Facebook so you can bully it and make yourself seem right, why don’t you show us how smart you really are and argue this accuratley. Hello 14 year old. How is highschool, is it stressful for you? You wish to relax and have a joint? Go ahead, but don’t give me bullshit how weed is good for you. You know it, and I know it. Most people do not smoke weed due to the “health benefits.” You say it helps patients with AIDS, and prevents lung cancer. Do you have any of those? I don’t smoke weed and I don’t have lung cancer. Am I some fucking gift from god?
Face it, the only reason you smoke weed is because it’s fun. I drink because it’s fun, but I don’t claim that the reason I drink beer is because it contains dozens of nutrients.

There you go, watch those and see how there is actually a gigantic debate on this. Where as alcohol impairs your motor skills marijuana does not. It also does not strip you of your inhibitions, in fact it does the opposite, which means you tend to be more careful while driving knowing that you’re under the influence of something.

That there is a great argument on your part, the government says it’s illegal and so that’s as far as anyone should question it. If alcohol was discovered today it would be illegal, no question about it. Every drug that recreates an alcohol high such as GHB are all being classified class C drugs meaning they have no medical value and restricted.
According to MADD.ca 3.7-4.4 deaths are caused each day in Canada because of alcohol related driving accidents, and 33.8% of all accident involve alcohol according to the government website. This doesn’t take into effect all the other deaths than happen due to alcohol abuse, underage drinking, fights that end in permanent injury or death, etc etc… How does it feel to know that a solid 30-40 percent of the population drink alcohol to an excess and do it in the most damaging way, in binges on the weekend.
Now, if you have a bone to pick it should be with the folk you see drinking at a bar any given night, because the odds are higher that they’ll go do something stupid and end up KILLING someone than the guy smoking a joint around the corner who doesn’t drink.

Listen up Randy, I can talk to a bunch of people who drink and drive all the time and they never get pulled over or into any accidents. Talking on a cellphone while driving is also illegal now, but I never got into any accidents.
A person may have trouble keeping concentration while high, and as such cause an accident. This is not for certain, but it increases the chances.
Should I have a bone to pick with the people who send everyday in a bar? Why would I have a bone to pick with myself?

Have you ever done any research on the amount of damage alcohol actually does on your body, even in moderation? If you feel those who enjoy marijuana are idiots yet are arguing with me over the health risks of drinking, drinking and driving, driving with on the cell because you have no clue of the risks.
Also, marijuana does not kill brain cells, thc actually binds to the already present receptors in your system. Your body produces THC on it’s own. The study that shows brain cells being killed in monkeys from smoking marijuana was done in the 60′s and the reason the monkeys lost brain cells was because they had a gas mask full of smoke on, they were being suffocated. Meanwhile, alcohol actually DOES kill brain cells.

Look what happened when the government took away peoples booze… people started acting like drug addicts opening up taverns and dens away from the cops and public.
I guarantee the same thing would happen today. People who are used to having a drink every day after work or a few on the weekend would eventually want one so much they would turn to illegal means… you know people would go crazy on the weekends without alcohol… a solid portion of the population that thinks they arent addicted are in fact addicted to drinking, just not to a point where it cuts into their life and becomes disruptive.

I personally believe that there are a lot of young stupid kids who cant get alcohol so they get some weed. They are young and naive, act up, and seem stupid. They along with other idiots who toke, make the rest of us look stupid, the same way the guys at bars who bash beer bottles over peoples head in a drunken rage make drinking look bad. Its a matter of who you have around you to draw your conclusions off of. I assure you if I was the first pothead you met you wouldnt be writing a blog on the stupid user. I sympathize with you, however, if you came across the wrong people in your experiences.
