The kids today try to act so mature. One of the funniest parts of this is that kids in high school believe that the alcohol age limit should be lowered here in Ontario. The age is 19 here in Ontario and these kids believe that the age should be 18. Yeah, a one year difference isn’t so much, so why not do it?

Well the whole point of a legal age for alcohol is to keep idiots away from it, and here in Canada you can be in high school, and still be 18. The government wants to keep alcohol away from minors because they know that they are going to do something stupid with it. I’ve had a few friends of mine get alcohol poisoning, the funny thing is: they were all under aged. Everyone I know of age is not stupid enough to drink that much and knows how to control themselves. So what, you have to wait till the age of 19 to drink legally. Big fucking deal, it’s not like alcohol is an essential like food or water. Besides, what difference does it make anyways? You will find someone to buy you alcohol anyways.

Lowering the alcohol age has no benefit to any other people. The government is all over 19, so what do they care? They don’t want their kids to drink, they are not going to do something stupid like give kids the ability to drink whenever they want. You can join all the groups you want on Facebook to lower the alcohol age limit. But eventually you will turn 19, and stop caring. So piss off and just wait.
