Isn’t It Ironic?

I hate it when people misuse the word “irony.” It mostly happened back when I was back in high school but apparently some people still didn’t learn. So here is a quick lesson.
Verbal irony: Saying something but meaning the opposite, a form of sarcasm. Saying “Nice day” when it’s raining.
Dramatic irony: When the audience knows something the character of the movie does not. In ’Romeo & Juliet’, the audience knows that Juliet has been poisoned. Not Romeo.
So no it’s not ironic that there was a president called Gerald Ford and Abraham Lincoln.
